Maui Japanese Buffet @ The Place, Damansara Perdana

I have been craving for buffet a lot lately and that explains the reason why I had buffet 4 times in 2 months. Every time when people think about buffet, it is all about spending lots of money on eating food that you always cannot finish. But afraid not, Maui Japanese buffet is a place that we always go when we need a quick buffet fix without burning our wallet (RM48.80+)

The star in all Japanese buffet - Sashimi

FOC - Fried Salmon Fin, filled with juicy fish fats/oil all over

The ala-carte Japanese buffet serves a variety of Japanese delicacies but of course with the price you pay, do not expect a 5 star quality. As it's ala-carte, the waiter/-ress will bring you a paper for you to order once you are seated and there is a FOC Fried Salmon Fin for every paying diner.
And since the price is affordable, it is alright to not over-eat. (ps but I still tend to overeat and always leave with a bulging tummy, which does not do justice to my eat-clean program)

Below are some other dishes we had during our last visit.

Grilled Salmon Fish Head. Again, filled with all the fatty fish oil, suits the health-freak me..

Salmon skin salad

Maguro Tempura. Look at the semi-cooked red maguro in the middle!!

Saba Shioyaki

Tempura goodness. Top: Tempura Mori, Bottom: Chikuwa Tempura

Chicken Gyoza

Shitake Yakimono

Behold...do not scroll if you could not resist carbs like me...(all carbs below for the carb-lover-me)..I figure I had been so discipline for the past 1 months, so why not...EXCUSES

The full menu for your reference,m as we could not cover all the dish in 1 visit.

*Do take note: Based on my humble opinion, do not order the 'makimono' as it is reali rice-y (alot of rice and it is really huge, order only if you have a few rice-lover with you)
