Malacca Teo Chew Bah Kut Teh

Bah Kut Teh is a must eat food in Klang. Those that we have in Klang are the Hokkien version, which has a darker soup color compared with the Teo Chew's.

Today we are gonna have BKT the Teo Chew way, with lighter soup color and has a more peppery taste to it.

In the pot: Meats, Mushroom, Celery, Enoki mushroom, Meat balls

Quite weird that they add celery in the pot, but it does blend in though.

The Yam rice, you can also choose to have the white rice. But try the yam rice, it is tastier.

The rice with real yam in it.

D' Pot.

Meat Ball, the I-Loved-Most-Ingredient in the pot. With the right amount of meats plus fat, the meat is soft and tasty.

Too bad the amount of balls in the pot is limited. I'm not sure whether do you need to add-in the meat balls or it is already in the pot. It is better to ask, or else you will miss the meat balls.

The meat is abit too dry for me, I still prefer those in Klang ^^.

The shop which is located in Melaka Raya, opposite of Comfort Hotel .

Overall, I love the meat ball and the yam rice. Nevertheless, the Klang Bah Kut Teh is still the best but it is good to try something different.

Although the soup is milder, but it has a different taste to it as it has pepper in it, making it a bit spicy. I'm not sure of the price as I do not need to pay..hehe...Avoid going during public holiday as the workers will be too busy to serve you.
